    Psalm 32

8 The Lord says, “I will teach you the way you should go;
I will instruct you and advise you.

9 Don't be stupid like a horse or a mule,
which must be controlled with a bit and bridle
    to make it submit.”
10 You that obey him, shout for joy! today.

Here is what stood out to me today in my reading. It is so easy to want to go my own way. To do what is right in my own eyes. How can it take so long to learn such easy lessons.

Today
    1. I will not "try" to do what needs to be done.
    2. I will enjoy what I have actually done.
    3. I will look for good memories.
    4. I will forget the past.

I hear their laughter
in the other room
and I am drawn, drawn
Away
Away from the tasks
I must perform.
The bed
The dishes
The shower and more
They can wait...can't they?
The voices sound so carefree
So happy
So beckoning
But the voices are just the
Empty
Mindless
Echo of powder puffs
Calling
Calling
Me away from what I
Really want to do for
My home
My family
My serenity and peace

Well, here I am back at The Hermitage.

I was out in the real world today. Visited the medic and the stores. Yikes, glad to be back. Noticed that when the signs say 45 mph. and you travel at 55 mph The Others still seem to pass you up at 85 mph.  Good old Hubby the Hermit is up on the Hill. knocking down trees and smoothing down dirt. It's his favorite way to pass time.

Even though It is so easy to get a blog and type in stuff. It's not easy to post it
